At Notes to Self, band is something that is very important to us. It fosters community, creativity, and teamwork. We also have a heart for our local homeschool communities and want to share our love for band with them!

Band is a way for musicians to come together to make incredible music come to life in ways they just can't do on their own! Typical concert bands are usually made up of woodwinds, (flutes, oboes, clarinets, saxes, etc.), brasswinds (trumpets, trombones, horns, tubas, etc.), and percussion (drums, bells, etc.) 

 

Our Wind band is for those who have prior experience playing a band instrument. If you currently play a wind or percussion instrument, (that includes piano!), and are interested in joining, please reach out. We would love to have you.

If you do not already play a band instrument but are interested in joining band, we offer private lessons for all the band instruments. Learn the instrument at your own speed, and then join the group when you are ready!
